Is there a way via the API to get the 'In Use' flag of a texture? In Creator, in the Texture Palette->List Textures dialog, all textures that are used in the FLT file are marked with an 'I'.
Is there a way to grab this info via the API?
I'm afraid not, the List Textures dialog calculates that on the fly by looking at all the geometry in the scene looking for references. The API does not keep track of that.
