Openflight model hierarchy with DOFs and Switches under CDB standard

Hello,

How should I arrange the DOFs within an openflight model? Right now, under the 'good' state, there's two groups: body and top

The Turret DOF is placed on top of the turret LODs, so the turret can be controlled by a single DOF irregardless of their LOD level

As I understand, in the CDB standard, I should only have 3 LODs in this model: High, Med, Low which controls all the assets in the database. In the below example, I created a turret DOF for each of the good LODs

My issue is that in some of my models, I have 6 LOD states, and 4 damage states (Good, Mobility, Firepower, Totally_destroyed). Good and Mobility modes should be able to control the turret. Does that mean I would have to create 12 turret DOFs in total (6 LOD X Good + 6 LOD X Mobility)?

If I do not want to duplicate so many DOFs, is there any way for me to have a master DOF that controls the turret ONLY no matter which LOD state it is in?

Also, I have switches that work the same way. One switch (e.g. for a ramp) that controls all 6 LODs. Good and mobility modes should be able to control the ramp. Does that mean I would have to create 12 ramp-switch in total (6 LOD X Good + 6 LOD X Mobility)?
