INFO: Stuck using the laptop/desktop manufacturers NVIDIA driver

SUMMARY
Some laptop/desktop manufactures "force" customers to only use their NVIDIA drivers. This article provides a solution to get around this problem.
DETAILS
If NVIDIA drivers will not install, the solution is generally to download the latest version available and the associated INF on Laptop2Go's website (http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers). Once the driver is unpacked, replace the original INF with the new one. You should be able to install the driver on the computer, even if it’s not officially supported.
